Baseball: Hart sophomore throws a shutout

Sophomore Garrett Gooding threw a two-hitter as Newhall Hart defeated Murrieta Valley, 2-0, in an OC Nissan tournament game Monday.
Gooding struck out two and walked two. Hart scored in the first inning when Pat Valaika tripled and scored on a ground out.
