Basketball: Battle of the Valley set for May 2

Some of the top boys’ and girls’ basketball players from the San Fernando Valley will compete in the Battle of the Valley all-star games May 2 at Cal State Northridge. The girls’ game will start at 5 p.m. and the boys’ game at 7 p.m.

Rosters are still being finalized. The halftime entertainment is scheduled to include a girls’ shooting contest and a boys’ dunk contest.

Tickets are $10, with students 12 and under admitted for $5. Parking is not included in the price of admission.
