Duke Rogers of Mater Dei and Scott Surdyka of Orange Lutheran have been invited to try out for the United States rugby under-19 men’s team.

Rogers recently played in an exhibition for the team in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., where he got a chance to display his skills. The 6-foot-1, 220-pound senior also has been invited to play for the team during international competition in May in Kenya.
