Boys’ basketball: Shannon Sharpe signs with Colorado

Former Corona Centennial standout Shannon Sharpe has signed a letter of intent with University of Colorado, according to Huskies Coach Josh Giles.

The 6-foot guard averaged 17.9 points, 7.9 rebounds and 7.7 assists per game in 2007-08. He managed to overachieve on the court and in the classroom despite having to endure the deaths of both of his parents while in high school.
