Skateboarders head to Simi Valley this weekend

Simi Valley’s Skatelab will be the site for the start of the Future AM Series on Saturday, bringing together top Southern California skateboarders ages 14 to 18 competing as part of the National High School Skateboarding Assn.

Forty teams from schools in Los Angeles, Ventura, Santa Barbara, Ontario, Bakersfield and Riverside will be competing in the series that culminates in August.
