Baseball: Simi Valley is alone in first place in Marmonte League

Levi Shordon pitched a complete game and Dennis Vigo and Brent Keys hit home runs to help Simi Valley defeat Calabasas, 7-1, in a Marmonte League game. The Pioneers (15-6, 7-2) took over sole possession of first place after Westlake defeated Simi Valley Royal, 17-3.

Nelson Spruce went four for four and Christian Yelich hit a double and triple for Westlake.
