The first standout of the spring travel basketball circuit is sophomore guard Lonnie Jackson of Valencia. Last weekend in Las Vegas, Jackson averaged 20 points for his club team and word spread quickly about his performance.

His father, Lance, a former guard standout at Woodland Hills Taft, said Arizona State has made a scholarship offer.

Jackson averaged 23.1 points as a 6-foot-3 shooting guard for Valencia. His three-point range makes him an intriguing prospect if he continues to develop.
