Football: Coaching clinic comes to Sherman Oaks Notre Dame

Some of the top high school coaches in the Southland will offer instruction to about 100 youth coaches from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday at Sherman Oaks Notre Dame High during a clinic hosted by USA Football, the sport’s national governing body on the youth and amateur levels.

The full-day clinic includes sessions on coaching philosophy, responsible coaching, fundamentals, drill execution and communicating with players, parents and other coaches. The $45 registration fee also includes a T-shirt, lunch, gift bag and certificate of completion.
