Football: Parker’s latest offer comes from Florida

Narbonne safety Sean Parker received a scholarship offer from Florida this week, which begs the question: What took the Gators so long?

Parker has more than 25 offers and coaches from Florida, Alabama, Arkansas, Arizona and Notre Dame were on campus just this week alone.

Parker, who had 57 tackles, five interceptions, three forced fumbles and one sack last season, has said he planned to take a full complement of official visits and withhold a commitment until signing day.
