There are now only three games left in the West Valley League, and all three top teams came away victorious Wednesday.

First-place Reseda Cleveland (21-6, 11-1) took care of Granada Hills, 12-5. Robert Almendarez and Jeremy Stearn each hit home runs.

Second-place Chatsworth (24-3, 10-2) defeated Birmingham, 16-0, in a five-inning game. Andy Weissberg had three doubles and four RBIs. Andrew Klausmeier hit two doubles.

Third-place Woodland Hills El Camino Real (20-7, 8-4) defeated Woodland Hills Taft, 8-2. Michael Booth threw a complete game and Jake Laurita had a two-run triple.

On Friday, Chatsworth will play at Cleveland in a game likely to decide the league championship.
