Baseball: Bishop Amat has one-two pitching punch

La Puente Bishop Amat (21-5) has clinched its third consecutive Del Rey League championship, led by pitchers Paul Paez and Brady Zuniga.

Paez, a junior, improved to 7-3 by beating St. Paul, 5-1. Zuniga (9-1) won his ninth consecutive decision in a 6-2 win over St. Paul.

Bishop Amat is 10-0 in league.
