Arcadia’s Bryce Rutherford threw a five-inning perfect game Friday during the Apaches’ 14-0 Pacific League victory over Glendale. Tim Smoley had a hit and drove in a pair of runs for Arcadia and now holds a school record with 92 hits in his career.

Arcadia (18-4), ranked No. 23 in the Southland in The Times’ latest poll, closes its regular season this week with games Tuesday against Pasadena and Friday against Crescenta Valley.
