Girls’ track: Thomas wins 200 to advance to City finals

Danielle Thomas of Washington won the 200 meters at the City Section preliminary track meet this afternoon, finishing in 25.37 seconds.

Birmingham’s Areana Anthony was second in 25.49 and El Camino Real’s Jasmine Woods was third in 25.50. They were among the eight qualifiers for next week’s City finals.
