Lots of schools have brought canopies to the Southern Section track and field championships at Cerritos College so their athletes can rest under shade, but no school has made a bigger impression than Westlake Village Oaks Christian.
The Lions appear to have turned three canopies into one. It’s so big and comfortable that it looks like it has air conditioning.
‘It’s bigger than my house,’ Long Beach Poly assistant Coach Nate Bershtel said.
