Baseball: Chatsworth-ECR in JV City final

The Chatsworth and El Camino Real varsity programs met Wednesday in a City Section Division I semifinal game, and now their junior varsity programs will play Thursday at Chatsworth for the City JV title.

It will be the final JV tournament because starting next season, it has been canceled because of budget cutbacks. Chatsworth (22-6) has defeated El Camino Real (21-6-1) three times this season.

Earlier this week, in the final JV softball City final, El Camino Real defeated Granada Hills, 6-4, in nine innings.
