La Sierra senior Reggie Wyatt looked like an elite runner going up against a bunch of weekend warriors in the boys’ 300-meter hurdles, winning in 36.88 seconds.

Millikan’s Jonathan Sanders was second in 37.68 and Dana Hills’ Mikey Fischetti was third in 38.14.

Wyatt, who earlier won the 400-meter dash, will have a short break--one event, to be exact--before competing in the 200. Can he go three for three? L.A. Cathedral’s Randall Carroll, who owns the fastest 200 time in the nation this year, might have something to say about that.
