Baseball: Time to play ball for Crespi, Redlands East Valley

None of the seeded teams is still playing in the Southern Section Division II baseball playoffs, which means anything could happen this afternoon when Crespi plays Redlands East Valley at L.A. Valley College.
Undefeated Jeremy Perez (9-0) will start for Redlands East Valley and be opposed by Crespi’s John Kearns (3-2). But if these playoffs have taught us anything, it’s that records mean nothing.
The winner will play the winner of the other semifinal between Huntington Beach and Chino Hills.I’ll be posting updates from the Crespi-REV game throughout the afternoon.
