It should be quite a final race in the boys’ 400 meters on Saturday after Chino Hills’ Josh Mance and La Sierra’s Reggie Wyatt won their preliminary heats with nearly identical times of 47.24 seconds and 47.28, respectively.

Gardena Serra’s Robert Woods won his heat in 47.53 and Artesia’s Jalen Craver won his in 47.94. Also qualifying from the Southland were Dominguez’s Kivon Grant (48.10), Manual Arts’ Terrence Conway (48.20) and Rancho Verde’s Paul Robertson (48.55).
