Fans and players arriving for today’s Southern Section baseball championships at Angel Stadium are taking a moment to visit a memorial to fallen Angels pitcher Nick Adenhart in front of the ticket office.

It is an emotional, memorable presentation, with a framed painting of Adenhart, an American flag on the back and dozens of fading red Angel caps on the ground with personal messages in tribute to Adenhart, who was killed by an alleged drunk driver in Fullerton on April 9. He was 22.
