Girls’ track: Redondo’s Curtis is second in 1,600 meters

Redondo junior Chloe Curtis finished second in the girls’ 1,600 meters this afternoon, finishing in 4 minutes 49.02 seconds.

Sammy Silva of the Academy of Our Lady Peace won in 4:47.67. Orange Lutheran’s Staci Foster was third in 4:49.95.

Silva distanced herself from the pack on the final lap and cruised to the finish.
