Football: Tustin running back Wilkerson commits to Stanford

Tustin running back Anthony Wilkerson has committed to Stanford, according to CardinalReport.com, picking the Cardinal over UCLA.

Wilkerson, who rushed for 1,149 yards and 16 touchdowns last season for the Tillers, also received scholarship offers from Utah, Washington and Colorado.

‘I just felt the time was right for me to commit,’ Wilkerson told CardinalReport. ‘I didn’t want to play around anymore, and I wanted to make the decision so the pressure would go away for my senior year.’
