Football: Oaks Christian is loading up with talent

Those who think Westlake Village Oaks Christian might be suddenly beatable after all their talented seniors graduate this coming season, forget it.

The Lions are loading up on incoming freshmen. Two standout running backs with their own videos, Vinnie Saucer and Zachary Green, are set to join the Lions this fall.

And Oaks Christian has also picked up several transfer students, including sophomore linebacker Carlos Mendoza from Oxnard Pacifica, sophomore running back Devon Lee from Highland, Texas, and junior quarterback Richard Harrington from Santa Monica.

As for this year’s group of seniors, quarterback Nick Montana is closing in on a college choice, with Georgia, Alabama and Washington among the leaders.
