Baseball: City-Southern Section all-star game is Saturday

Lake Balboa Birmingham will be the site for Saturday’s City-Southern Section all-star baseball game set to begin at 6:30 p.m.

Players from City Section champion Chatsworth, City runner-up Reseda Cleveland and semifinalist Woodland Hills El Camino Real will lead the City squad.

Pitcher Josh Goossen-Brown, the co-Mission League player of the year from Sherman Oaks Notre Dame, is among the players for the Southern Section team.

There will be a home-run derby at 4:30 p.m.
