Football: Eagle Rock gets a new coach and a fresh start

Greg Pierce, a former assistant at Crescenta Valley, has taken over the troubled Eagle Rock football program and appears on his way to getting the program focused in a positive way.
The numbers coming out for the team are up, and the Eagles are scheduled to play in several summer passing tournaments.
‘The kids have been working very hard,’ Pierce said.
