Boys’ basketball: May resigns at Los Alamitos

Russ May, who guided Los Alamitos to nine league championships in 10 seasons as boys’ basketball coach, has resigned to become the coach at Cerritos College. He will continue to teach at Los Alamitos for one more year.

The school has launched a search to find a replacement.
