Anaheim Servite stamped itself as one of the top teams in the Pac-5 Division with an impressive 30-7 victory over long-time power Long Beach Poly Thursday night at Veterans Stadium.

Quarterback Cody Fajardo passed for 156 yards and one touchdown while also scoring a touchdown. Chris Nicholls caught a touchdown and ran for a touchdown. Servite’s defense limited Poly QB Dylan Lagarde to 80 yards passing. He was 10 of 27. Standout Poly running back Cory Westbrook was held to 23 yards rushing in 12 carries.

It was the worst Poly defeat since a 41-14 loss to Mission Viejo in 2004.
