Football: Loyola driving going into second quarter

Loyola’s first two drives were penalty-plagued, but the third time could be the charm.

The Cubs have driven to Mira Costa’s 32-yard line to start the second quarter. The Mustangs lead, 7-0.

Loyola quarterback Jerry Neuheisel has a pair of incompletions and has been sacked twice. Running back Jared Baker has 28 yards in only three carries for the Cubs.
