Football: Kasdorf is struggling

The first quarter has been completed, and Moorpark holds a 7-0 lead over Sherman Oaks Notre Dame.

Notre Dame quarterback Ryan Kasdorf has not been sharp in his first three series, missing several open receivers. He has fumbled twice and was sacked by Brian Blechen for an 11-yard loss.

Moorpark is doing a good job defensively against Notre Dame’s option plays out of the spread offense. And the Musketeers are running the ball well enough to control the clock and the ball.
