With 5:46 remaining in the first quarter, Anaheim Servite has a 10-0 lead over Encino Crespi, who has already committed three penalties.

The Friars faced a 4th-and-1 on the Celts’ 20-yard line, but Crespi was called for offsides. Three plays later, Servite running back Sean DeRosa had a seven-yard touchdown run, which gave the Friars a 10-0 lead following Nicholas Echeverry’s extra point.

A holding penalty also prevented Servite from scoring a touchdown on its opening drive. The Friars’ Christopher Nicholls opened the game with a 76-yard kickoff return from the Friars’ 6-yard line. But they wound up settling for a 27-yard field goal from Echeverry.
