When Nick Montana showed up at Westlake Village Oaks Christian two years ago from Northern California, it forced an exodus of quarterbacks who were trying to win the starting position. They’re doing just fine elsewhere.

Junior Nick Isham has become a standout at Westlake. On Thursday night, he helped the Warriors improve to 2-0 by completing 16 of 18 passes for 153 yards and four touchdowns in a 42-20 win over Saugus.

Junior Jake Geringer has been equally good at Newbury Park, which improved to 2-0 with a 34-6 victory over Oxnard Rio Mesa. Geringer ran for two touchdowns and passed for two TDs.
