Baseball: Special honor for ex-Norco pitcher

Garrett Parcell is returning to Norco High on Friday night to be inducted into the school’s sports Hall of Fame, and what a story he has to tell.
He’s a 25-year-old pitcher in the Florida Marlins organization, and this season, he had an earned-run average of 0.25 in 36 2/3 innings for double-A Jacksonville. He’s had four operations but never gave up. He’s the son of long-time Norco baseball Coach Gary Parcell.
