Edison just got back into its game against Mater Dei on a 34-yard touchdown pass from Matt Viles to Dylan Leener with 1:20 left in the second quarter. It’s Mater Dei 17, Edison 14.

Mater Dei gave the Chargers a scoring opportunity. The Monarchs recovered a fumble on the Edison 40 but couldn’t move the ball. Then they dropped a punt snap, giving Edison the ball at the 48. Viles was about to be sacked when he found a wide-open Leener.
