Football: Mater Dei is saved by interception

Matthew Billeci interception in the end zone has forced a second overtime period in the Edison-Mater Dei game. It was Billeci’s second interception of the game and the third against Edison quarterback Matt Viles.

Edison had the ball on the 17-yard line. Viles tried to hit Jeff Trojan, but Billeci came up with the interception. If Mater Dei attempts a seventh field goal, it would be some sort of school record, right?
