Mater Dei, having not lost to Servite since 1988, isn’t willing to go down without a fight. The Monarchs have closed their deficit to 30-20 with 6:25 left after A.J. Roth caught a 10-yard TD pass from Max Wittek. A two-point conversion attempt failed.

Now it’s up to the Friars to run out the clock.
