Los Angeles Cathedral is 8-0, but no one really knows how good the Phantoms are because their schedule has been hardly challenging.

All that changes beginning Friday night at Cathedral when North Hollywood Harvard-Westlake comes to play in a Del Rey League game. Harvard-Westlake is 5-2 and owns a victory over Mission Hills Alemany.

Cathedral certainly has been building up its statistics. Quarterback Trevor Olson has passed for 2,328 yards and 27 touchdowns. Receiver Anthony Jefferson is averaging 24.5 yards per receptions and has caught 11 TD passes. Receiver Kyle Merrill is averaging 20.6 yards per reception with seven TDs.

If Cathedral can get past Harvard-Westlake, then it will set up a showdown for the Del Rey League title next week against unbeaten Gardena Serra.
