That didn’t take long.

After forcing Fountain Valley to a three-and-out on the second half’s opening drive, Edison running back Davion Orphey ran in for a three-yard touchdown and a two-point conversion. The score gave the Chargers a 21-0 lead with 7:06 remaining in the third quarter.

Orphey’s 37-yard run up the middle brought the Chargers to Fountain Valley’s 10-yard line. Orphey then punched in two consecutive three-yard runs. Edison was going to go for the extra point, but it ultimately went for the 2-point conversion after Fountain Valley was called for offsides.
