Football: Ex-St. Francis player leads Alemany

Mission Hills Alemany took a big step toward winning the Mission League title with a 13-7 victory over La Canada St. Francis.

Deron Smith, who played for St. Francis as a freshman last season, had two interceptions for Alemany, including one with 30 seconds left to preserve the victory.
