Los Alamitos’ defense stopped Fountain Valley on the 40-yard line on fourth down with 53 seconds left in the second quarter. It’s halftime, and Fountain Valley has a 10-7 lead over the Griffins in a Sunset League game.
Nick Richardson of Los Alamitos has rushed for 97 yards in 21 carries. Kyle Middlebrooks of Fountain Valley has rushed for 124 yards in 11 carries.
