Serra and Cathedral tied at halftime

Thanks to a few Gardena Serra miscues, the battle for the Del Rey League title is tied, 7-7, at halftime.

Two Cathedral interceptions along with a fumble on a botched fake field goal attempt has allowed the Phantoms to stay in the game. Serra has been quiet ever since Shaquille Richard scored on a long touchdown carry on the Cavaliers’ first possession.

We’ll see if Serra can limit the mistakes and take control of the game in the second half. Cathedral has played well but the Cavaliers were their own worst enemy in the first half.
