Football: I hate that song

Just heard the Notre Dame fight song played by San Pedro’s band outside their stadium as they warm up for tonight’s City Section first-round playoff game against Dorsey.

I didn’t know that was the Pirates’ song as well. That means I’m going to have to hear it two nights in a row as I am headed to Sherman Oaks Notre Dame on Friday to watch the Knights play Fountain Valley in a Pac-5 Division first-round playoff game. Lucky me.

The only time I like hearing the ‘Notre Dame Victory March’ is during Leslie Nielsen’s ‘Win one for the Zipper’ speech in Airplane!

My prediction on tonight’s game? Let me put it this way: Vote for Pedro.
