Anderson gives Bishop Amat the lead

Jay Anderson carried two Mater Dei tacklers into the end zone en route to an 11-yard touchdown run to give Bishop Amat a 7-0 lead over Mater Dei with 11:38 left in the second quarter.

The Lancers marched 73 yards in 10 plays. They were helped by a pass interference penalty and the pinpoint passing of quarterback Jerry McClanahan.
