Sophomore Rio Ruiz caught a 40-yard touchdown pass from Jerry McClanahan with 38 seconds left, and Bishop Amat has taken a 28-21 lead over Mater Dei.

McClanahan threw the ball up, and Ruiz outdueled Matthew Billeci for the ball.
