Woodland Hills Taft running back D.J. Morgan told USCFootball.com that his torn ACL diagnosed from an MRI exam was an old injury.

‘I’m good, but they say my ACL has been torn a while,’ Morgan said. ‘It’s a blessing my thighs were strong enough to keep my knee stable this long. I was able to compete and win a state and world track championship with an ACL tear. I also got to help my team get this far into the playoffs.’

Morgan, the world’s fastest hurdler for his age group, is likely out for the track season besides having his football season ended last Thursday when he went down against Garfield.
