Venice has frittered away any chance of winning this game by fumbling a kickoff and giving the ball back to Narbonne, which scored five plays later on Sean Parker’s one-yard run to take a 41-24 lead over the Gondoliers with 5:20 left in the game.

Venice would need three scores to win the game.
