Boys’ basketball: Palisades brings respect to City Section

Palisades knocked off North Hollywood Harvard-Westlake, 73-65, in the fifth-place game of the Redondo tournament. Palisades plays in the Western League with Westchester and Fairfax, so a win over the Wolverines means the Dolphins are going to be competitive. Garrett Nevels had 29 points. On Friday, Palisades defeated Santa Monica, 69-60.

Damiene Cain had 19 points and Nate Bulluck 17 for Harvard-Westlake. Cain made all-tournament.
