Football: Chaparral takes 13-7 lead

Chaparral quarterback Mitch Glasmann is having a great game in misty Murrieta, running up the middle 21 yards for his second touchdown run to give the Pumas a 13-7 lead over Vista Murrieta late in the second quarter.

The Pumas missed the extra point, which sailed wide right. That could loom large later.

Glasmann has completed 11 of 16 passes for 107 yards with an interception and run for 36 yards and two touchdowns in six carries.
