Football: Mira Costa 24, Alemany 21

Alex Norocea kicked a 28-yard field goal to give Mira Costa the lead back, 24-21, with 4:37 left in tonight’s Southern Section Western Division final at College of the Canyons.
On third-and-12 from the Mira Costa 35-yard line, Kyle Nunn out-jumped three defenders to catch a 35-yard pass from quarterback Kyle Demarco that gave the Mustangs a first down at the Alemany 30-yard line.

Morgan Reece was held to one yard on third-and-4 from the Warriors’ 13 but Norocea’s kick was straight through the uprights.
