Servite has a 3-0 halftime lead over Edison and there are many statistics that show how the rain has affected this game.

*The Friars have 134 yards of total offense and held possession for 17:04 of the half, but their only scoring chances came on field goals.

*Servite senior quarterback Cody Fajardo seems to be the only player with the ability to run on a soaking wet field He has 14 carries for 70 yards, highlighted by a 46-yard run that eventually set up Connor Loftus’ 24-yard field goal.

*Edison has three fumbles.

*The Chargers have only 35 yards of total offense, including five passing yards, as well as two first downs.

Fortunately, it appears the rain has stopped (for now) as the second half is about to begin.
