Boys’ basketball: Loyola improves to 8-0

After leading by four points at halftime, Los Angeles Loyola turned up the pressure in the second half and rolled to a 70-48 victory over Woodland Hills El Camino Real in the opening round of the Oaks Christian tournament.

Julian Harrell and Tony Wroblicky each scored 15 points for the Cubs (8-0). Tre Holden scored 16 points for El Camino Real (6-4).

In other openers, Pasadena defeated Ontario Colony, 63-48. Santa Monica defeated Alemany, 60-51.
