Boys’ basketball: Campbell Hall improves to 8-3

Austin McBroom scored 24 points and K.J. Smith added 16 points for North Hollywood Campbell Hall, which defeated Roosevelt (Wa.), 55-51, in a MaxPreps Holiday Classic game. Campbell Hall is 8-3.

Earlier, Los Angeles Fairfax was beaten by Oakland McClymonds, 37-36. Lawndale Leuzinger defeated Mesa (Ariz.), 64-61. Los Angeles Price was beaten by Newark Memorial, 43-42.
